Abstract
Crystal structures of the ligand (HL) and the complex (NiIIL2) with topological H-bonded networks have been explored. DFT study shows noncovalent antiparallel Ïâ-Ï+ stacking interactions with self-assembled H-bonded dimers in HL, whereas the complex (NiIIL2) possesses supramolecular 1-D polymeric chain through lp-Ï and CH/Ï noncovalent interactions.299
