Abstract
An eco-friendly way for the preparation of AgNPs by using medicinal plant Marsilea quadrifolia leaves extract without any external reducing and stabilizing agents. The synthesized AgNPs were systematically characterized by UV-Vis, FE-SEM, TEM, EDX, FT-IR, and exhibited strong antibacterial activity against E. coli ATCC 25922. This AgNPs showed anticancer activity against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines. The fluorescence spectroscopy and circular dichroism showed the efficient binding affinity of HSA and human Hb towards AgNPs with a slight change in polarity around Trp, Tyr residues, and protein's basic structure remain same. Besides, its simplicity of rapid synthesis and low production cost may facilitate it to be used in several biomedical applications, controlling bacterial infection and to combat cancerous cells growth (such as MCF-7 and HeLa).294
