Abstract
A latest generation Raman spectrometer, coupled with ultra low frequency filters, allowed to detect natural frequencies of lysozyme samples from hundreds of GHz to tens of THz. A large low-frequency peak was found and considered as a possible global vibration mode. Numerical lattice model simulations helped in interpreting the experimental results.145
