Abstract
Measured sample transmission (left) and transformed hydrogen concentration (right) showing the azimuthally anisotropic hydride lens structure on Zircaloy LWR fuel cladding. The azimuthally anisotropic lens structure is a consequence of compressive stress modulation within the hydride layer. Finite element analysis predicts this modulation.428
