Abstract
The evaluation of hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment (aμ) relies on our understanding of meson-photon transition form factors (TFFs). The models for the meson-virtual-photon TFFs utilised in previous calculations of aμ do not agree with QCD predictions for the meson-photon TFFs. We present results of a study of hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to the aμ employing QCD results for the meson-photon TFFs and make comparison with results obtained with models for the meson-photon TFFs.
