Abstract
The characteristics of fission fragments of various highly-excited nuclei with 119â¤Aâ¤218, which are formed by γ- and α-captures, and by fusion-fission reactions, are discussed in details. The yields of fission fragments of these nuclei are related to the number of states of the two-fragment systems at the two-body saddle points. The various experimental distributions of fission fragments are well described in the model.
