Abstract
A novel Al doped ZnO thin film transducer incorporating Neutral red as a redox mediator has been prepared by a simple one-pot chemical bath deposition. The as prepared films were found to be responsive to NADH concentration in the solution, without any need for further modifications. Further film was found to be suitable for the immobilization of NAD dependent enzyme like Lactate dehydrogenase, which on conjugation can be used for detection of lactate.183
