Abstract
⺠Interviewed interaction designers saw a good design process as methodical and managed within constraints. ⺠An even better design process was seen as having a thought-through rationale. ⺠Ideally, the design process should be inspirational. ⺠Conceptions that designers have of process quality can be used as grading criteria in education. ⺠Students can understand such criteria, and teachers can apply them reliably.
