Abstract
Our findings demonstrate adaptation of live HEK293 cell metabolism to prolonged exposure to therapeutic concentration of Li manifested as up-regulation of Na+/K+-ATPase expression, alteration of protein composition and change of the surface layer of plasma membrane.
