In conclusion, OCA treatment demonstrates cardiopulmonary protective effects, modulating lung vascular remodeling, reducing right ventricular hypertrophy and significantly improving exercise capacity. Thus, OCA can restore the balance between relaxant and contractile pathways in the lung, promoting cardiopulmonary protective actions.
