Abstract

The Steelmaking & Rolling Plant of Jilin Steel Company has two sets BOF with 35t rated capacity. Both of two sets BOF were running mainly depending on the experience of the operator for a long time. In other words, all these BOF were running in the less theory guiding condition all the time.According above situation, we make some technological modification and improvement. The detail modification is building the additive amount model of BOF slagging constituent at one set industrial PC. This program is very convenient to use, and its expression is very intuitionistic. The most important is this model has very good guiding for the steelmaking operating, also it has partly “Auto Steelmaking” function. Forthermore, the building and using of the model becomes the foundation for the standardization of technological operating. Meanwhile, this model also can control the additive amount of slagging constituent accurately in case of the waste. Obviously, this model can decrease the cost of the steelmaking material. So, it has obvious economical value and practical utility.
