Abstract

The pulse time signals were collected by using the microphone and sound card when knocking the eggs. Then the energy values of high frequency coefficients and low frequency coefficients were obtained by the method of multiresolution wavelet decomposition. After analysis to data, it was found that, the energy parameter values of the crack eggs are smaller, and the energy parameter values of the intact eggs are big and relative dispersion. In order to realize non-destructive detection on the egg crack, a discriminant function was set up by using the distribution of the characteristics of energy parameters of the low and high frequency coefficients.
