Abstract
Isoniazid N-acetylation rates in vitro and multiple concentrations in situ exhibited robust and highly significant N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) genotype-dependent metabolism in cryopreserved human hepatocytes. The clear association between NAT2 genotype and phenotype supports use of NAT2 genotype to guide isoniazid dosing strategies in the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis.124
