Cyamémazine (Tercian®) et syndromes extrapyramidaux : exploration des cas contenus dans la base nationale de pharmacovigilance

We should keep in mind that despite its widespread use in various indications (e.g. anxiolytic) cyamemazine remains a neuroleptic and could induce extrapyramidal syndromes even with low dosage. Careful monitoring should be performed when introducing and with long-term use of cyamemazine, mostly in elderly patients or patient already being treated with neuroleptics.
