Abstract
A pair of filter banks whose corresponding wavelets are Hilbert transform of each other forms a Hilbert-pair. Motivated by the recent discovery of the analytic property of the Daubechies wavelet, the design of a class of orthonormal Hilbert-pairs is presented here. The length of filters in the pair differs by four and the filters have minimum phase response. The design is based on incorporating the simple zero-pinning technique into a search procedure.
