Abstract
Complex method is used to study the optimization of geometric shape of Xiamen concrete masonry double-curved arch dam. It is not only solved that part tensile stress of the preliminary scheme exceeds allowable stress, but also the volume of dam body is reduced by 6%. At the same time, the upper arch ring becomes flat and the sliding stability of rock mass at dam abutment is met.
