Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the initial value problem for the generalized double dispersion equation in Rn. Under suitable conditions, global classical solutions are proved for nâ¥3 and nâ¥1, respectively. Moreover, pointwise estimates of global classical solutions are established when nâ¥3 and n is an odd integer by Fourier splitting frequency technique.
