Abstract
α-Elapitoxin-Bf1b, a short-chain neurotoxin from the venom of Bungarus fasciatus (banded krait), produces pseudo-irreversible antagonism at the avian skeletal muscle nicotinic receptor and is resistant to commercial antivenoms.
