Abstract
A bioassay-guided separation on EtOAc extract from the roots and rhizomes of Smilax riparia A. DC. leads to the detection of one new phenylpropanoid glycosides, 3, Smilaside P, along with four known phenylpropanoid glycosides (1, 2, 4, and 5).257.
