Abstract
Fractions from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla were evaluated for their protective effects against cobalt chloride-induced hypoxic injury in H9c2 cardiomyocytes. The results supported the medical use of this plant for the treatment of palpitation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and ethnic medicines.177
