Abstract
The figure represents plants species with great reputation for its use in treatment of diabetes mellitus in an aboriginal community in Lohit district of the Eastern zone of Arunachal Himalaya, India: Diplazium esculentum (Athyraceae), Saccharum spontaneum (Poaceae), and Azadirachta indica (Meliaceae).
