Abstract
Indirubin treatment reduced both of epidermis and dermis thickness in DNCB-induced mice. In addition, Indirubin reduced serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels and cytokines production, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha, interleukin (IL)-4, 6 and Interferon (IFN)-gamma. The activation of NF-κB and the phosphorylation of IκB-α as well as the mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase activities were inhibited by Indirubin.138
