Abstract
The 95% posterior credible interval of θ (common mean) and of θj of the 7 higher taxonomic groups with respect to their share of medicinal species within the flora of Campania (1, Pteridophytes; 2, Gymnosperms; 3, Early diverging Angiosperms; 4, Monocots; 5, Early diverging Eudicots; 6, Rosids; 7, Asterids). Taxonomic groups 4 and 5 differ from H0 because the posterior distribution of θ4 and θ5 differs from that of θ with a probability of at least 95%. That is, Monocots (4) are underused and early diverging Eudicots (5) overused.
