Abstract
Hemerocallis citrina Baroni (Liliaceae) has traditionally been used in the treatment of depression. Administration of the ethanol extracts from Hemerocallis citrina (HCE) (90-360Â mg/kg) exerted anti-immobility effect and elevated brain monoamine neurotransmitter levels in the study.
