Abstract
The HPLC fingerprint of SLE extract was recorded and the percentage composition of schisandra lignans was determined as 82.63%. Oral administration of SLE significantly reduced the number of metastatic colonies of P815 tumor cell in liver of restrained mice. The protective effect of SLE on hepatic metastases related to the alleviation of the adverse effects of stress for immunoprotection.
