Abstract
Gastrodia elata (GE) extract was evaluated for its anti-neuroinflammatory effects mediated by activated microglia stimulated by lipopolysaccharide. Based on the cellular and molecular observations, 4-HBA, one of the major bioactive constituent of GE was proved to be responsible for anti-neuroinflammatory actions.
