Abstract
113 'Lower Elevation Medicinal Plants' (LEMPs) belonging to 68 families and 104 genera were identified and the highest number belonged to the family Leguminosae. Among the survey areas, Langthel was found to host the maximum number of LEMPs. Among the plant forms, majority of the species belonged to the category of herbs. Among the plant parts collected, seeds were most prominent.
