Abstract
► The role of RGC-32 in multiple sclerosis was investigated. ► RGC-32 was found to be present in multiple sclerosis brain tissue. ► RGC-32 was found to be a biomarker for relapses in multiple sclerosis. ► RGC-32 regulates FasL expression by CD4 positive cells. ► RGC-32 mediates TGF-β-induced extracellular matrix expression in astrocytes.
