Abstract
⺠Acute endotoxemia causes macrophage accumulation of in the lung and liver. ⺠Liver macrophages are more sensitive to acute endotoxemia than lung macrophages. ⺠The effects of acute endotoxemia are blunted in mice with a nonfunctional TLR4. ⺠TLR4 is key in oxidative stress, inflammation and macrophage activation.
