Abstract
⺠The FOXF1 protein is detected only in stroma of adjacent normal colorectal mucosa. ⺠FOXF1 is mislocalized in the epithelial cytoplasm of colorectal adenocarcinomas. ⺠FOXF1 is undetectable in tumor-associated stroma of most colorectal adenocarcinomas. ⺠Cytoplasmically mislocalized FOXF1 is associated with the malignancy of colon cancer. ⺠FOXF1 is a potential predictor for the prognosis of colorectal cancer.
