Abstract
- CeO2 colloidal suspension with nanoparticles of about 3Â nm was synthesized.
- Different volumes of the colloidal suspension were incorporated in the U-PEO hybrid.
- SAXS showed that the hybrid nanostructure is not affected by the Ce incorporation.
- XPS results revealed the presence of Ce(IV) and Ce(IV) states in the loaded hybrids.
- The loaded hybrids have higher UVB/A absorption capacity than the unloaded one.
