Abstract
- Ni-RGO hybrids were synthesized by an environmentally friendly method.
- Ethylene glycol was used as both solvent and reducing agent to prepare Ni-RGO.
- Ni-RGO was used as catalyst for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol.
- Ni-RGO showed higher catalytic ability than pure Ni nanoparticles.
- Ni-RGO showed a good recyclability for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol.
