Abstract
- Self-assembled entropic gels of laponite clay platelets were made in ionic liquid solutions.
- Hierarchical IL concentration dependent transition from ergodic to non-ergodic state was observed.
- Dynamic structure factor revealed two relaxation modes.
- The diffusive fast mode further contained two independent diffusion components both strongly dependent on IL concentration.
- The anomalous slow mode was frozen at all IL concentrations.
