Abstract
- The degree of ethoxylation of SLES on pyrene solubilization in SLES-Brij35 mixed micelles was investigated.
- At fixed α, CMCs, MSRs (Km12), and X1M were found to be independent on the degree of ethoxylation.
- This invariance suggested identical SLES-Brij35 mixed micellar structures and aggregation properties.
- B decreased with increasing degree of ethoxylation, whereas βM remains invariant.
- Pyrene-SLES interaction plays a negligible role in pyrene solubilization, compared to SLES-Brij35 interaction.
