Abstract
Presence of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and diabetes in offspring, with diabetes mellitus being the most contributing cardiovascular risk factor, is related to an increased risk of developing new or subsequent vascular events in patients already at high vascular risk.
