Abstract
- Hydrophobic co-surfactants can be used to tune and optimise the PIT.
- Increasing the hydrophobic co-surfactant concentration leads to PIT decrease.
- Temperature cycling changes the phase inversion path eliminating the LLC phase.
- α-Tocopherol acted as a co-surfactant causing a decrease of the PIT and drop size.
- The surfactant/co-surfactant ratio had a strong effect on drop sizes.
