- Superhydrophobic membranes with different surface roughness were prepared.
- Superhydrophobic membranes could be fabricated without micro-scale structures.
- The surface with micro-/nano-hierarchical structures is relatively stable.
- All the films exhibit high transmittance of 90% in visible light.
