Abstract
- A green and facile one-pot synthesis of Ag-Fe3O4/RGO nanocomposite is successfully carried out using hydrothermal process.
- Presence of Fe3O4 NPs and high aspect ratio graphene sheets enhance the reusability of as-synthesized catalyst.
- Ag-Fe3O4/RGO is effective catalyst to reduce 4-NP and possess good antibacterial activity.
- As-synthesized nanocomposite is magnetically separable which makes it a cost effective material for water treatment.
