Abstract
- QCM and depletion were used to study CnBDMAC adsorption onto stainless steel.
- The employed experimental procedures influences the measured frequency shifts.
- The QCM overestimate the adsorbed amount due to the bulk solution properties.
- Using the loop protocol reduces the differences in the derived adsorbed amounts.
- The contribution of the bulk effect removed by using a correction procedure.
