Abstract
⺠Single liquid metallic films containing Mg and TiB2 particles are more stable. ⺠Structures resembling liquid metallic Plateau borders were created. ⺠Drainage of liquid aluminium composites was enabled over a period of 120 s. ⺠Known stabilisation mechanisms of foams could be discussed. ⺠A model system was developed for a direct comparison with real metal foams.
