Abstract
⺠Ag@AgCl/rGO, nano-silver, silver chloride on reduced graphene oxide catalyst. ⺠Plasmonic/semiconducting visible light photocatalsyt (Ag@AgCl/rGO) was prepared. ⺠Rhodamine B undergoes direct injection to Ag@AgCl/rGO to give deethylated products. ⺠Degradation products can be quantified using deconvolution of the UV-vis spectrum. ⺠Ag@AgCl/rGO forms a strong oxidant that is different to hydroxyl radical.
