Abstract
► Au@Pt nanoparticles were synthesized by a successive reduction reaction method. ► Au@Pt nanoparticles were assembled on the Vulcan XC-72 carbon surface. ► The electrochemical properties of Au@Pt/C catalysts were studied. ► The Au@Pt/C (1:2) catalyst showed the highest catalytic activity and good stability.
