Abstract
⺠The succinic acid-γ-Fe2O3 core-shell structures were fabricated by co-precipitation method. ⺠Model drug streptomycin interacted only at free iron sites of the core-shell structures. ⺠The surface properties of nano γ-Fe2O3 were explained in terms of Fe6(OH)18(H2O)6 ring cluster ab initio model.
