Abstract
⺠The spreading of a droplet of power-law fluid is theoretically investigated. ⺠Classical energy-based approach is used to develop the model. ⺠A modified capillary number is proposed to characterize the spreading process. ⺠Experimental results validate the model up to a modified capillary number of 0.1.
