Abstract
⺠Analyzing the shape of captive bubbles requires alignment of the solid support and optics. ⺠No methods for aligning pitch have been described. ⺠Misaligned pitch, although difficult to detect, can affect results significantly. ⺠In contrast to roll, mathematical corrections for incorrect pitch are unavailable. ⺠These studies show how to align pitch of the camera and then the solid support.
