Abstract
⺠Hybrid SiO2-coated nanocrystal-based heterosturctures fabricated at room temperature. ⺠The heterosturctures exhibited belt-like fibers, solid fibers, and long nanowires. ⺠The heterosturctures consisted of hybrid SiO2-coated CdTe nanocrystals, SiO2, and thioglycolic acid. ⺠The morphological evolution of the heterostructure is ascribed to the concentration dependence of the growth kinetics.
