Abstract
⺠Silicon coatings were applied to cotton fabric by admicellar polymerization. ⺠Water repellency with the smaller monomer methacryloxymethyltrimethylsilane was superior to that of the larger monomer methacryloxypropylpentamethyldisiloxane. ⺠Static contact angles of 110-120° were obtained.
