Abstract
A generalized model was derived to explain the electro-deposition behavior of a range of acrylic electro-deposition resins having different minimum film formation temperatures and different molecular weights. The influence of co-solvent on the electro-coagulation and film formation of the studied resins has also been verified based on the variations of the model parameters. It was found that the generalized model could well describe the constant voltage electro-deposition behavior of resin dispersions.
