Abstract
In this paper cobalt ferrite nanoparticles have been synthesized by an improved chemical precipitation, called spraying co-precipitation. TG/DTA, XRD, BET and TEM were used to analyse the structure characteristics of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. The results show that the CoFe2O4 nanoparticles prepared by spraying co-precipitation have smaller size and more uniform than those prepared by regular co-precipitation. The mechanism of spraying co-precipitation was investigated.
