Abstract
Nature of reverse micelles in the water/Triton-X/cyclohexane system was investigated using dynamic light scattering (DLS) technique. Considerable variation in the size (5–18 nm) and polydispersity (0.02–0.26) of the reverse micelles is observed in the region corresponding to stable reverse micelles. The optimal composition led to reverse micelles of 8 nm size and a very low polydispersity of 0.02.
